Monsoon wechsel/Monsoon change
Der Monsun ist langsam dabei von NordOst auf SüdWest zu wechseln. Das bedeutet das der Wind dann von westen kommt anstatt aus östlicher Richtung. Für Unterwasser bedeutet das, das wir nun doch recht oft eine auslaufende Strömung haben und das Wasser sehr Plankton reich ist. Wir nennen die Sicht dann “Manta Sicht” . . . man hat immer das Gefuehl das die Mantas in der Nähe sind und darauf warten von uns entdeckt zu werden. Bis jetzt haben wir leider erst 2 von ihnen zu Gesicht bekommen aber wir sind uns sicher das auch der Rest zu uns unterwegs ist. Sie waren ganz sicher nur die Vorboten!
The monsoon is slowly starting to change from northeast to southwest. Regularly we have now west wind instead of east. Underwater we can notice now and then a strong outgoing current and more plankton in the water. It sometimes looks like ´manta visibilty´… we feel like the mantas could be waiting around the corner for us. They must be still on the way, so far we have seen only two passing by. Maybe they were trying to tell us: ´soon we´ll be there!´
