Silvester, Vuvuzelas und Gewitter – New years eve, Vuvuzelas and thunderstorm

Wir wünschen all unseren Blog Lesern und Freunden ein glückliches Neues Jahr!
Im Siddhartha hatten wir wie letztes Jahr aufgerüstet: Partyzelte an der Poolbar, tolle live band mit Lichtshow und Showeinlagen. Wie hatten wir uns gefreut. Der Cocktail war vielversprechend aber während des Buffets brach es über uns herein: Es regnete wie aus Kübeln, donnerte und blitzte als würde die Welt untergehen und starke Windböen machten eine Party an der Pool Bar unmöglich :no: . Wir evakuierten die Instrumente der Band in das Restaurant und improvisierten. Zum Schluss hatten wir trotz der tristen Wetterbedingungen eine tolle Silvesterfeier :yes: Nach einem halben Liter Wodka hatte sich auch Morten in Tanzlaune getrunken und zog mit seiner Petra eine heisse Show ab.

Like last year the Siddhartha was prepared for new ears eve: Party tents on the pool bar, live band with a great light show and dance performances. But it shouldn’t be: During the gala buffet the thunderstorm came in with heavy rain, rolling thunder and thunderbolts :no: . We evacuated most of the instruments into the restaurant and improvised. We finally got our party and everybody enjoyed :yes: After drinking half a liter of Wodka Morten was ready to join Petra on the dance floor.

Kurz vor dem Jahreswechsel erlebten in Kubu die Vuvuzelas aus der WM in Südafrika eine Auferstehung und was viele an der WM zur Verzweiflung trieb fand hier begeisterten Zuspruch! :))
Short before the turn of the year our guests started to use the vuvuzelas – what caused nervous breakdowns for many of us during the football WM in South Africa turned now everybody on during the new years party here in Kubu :))

Barbara und Petra waren für den Countdown besorgt und kamen wirklich auch nur ein ganz klein bisschen durcheinander :yes:

Wir hoffen, ihr hattet alle eine tolle Silvesterparty. Wir werden hier schon jetzt damit starten, die Wettergeister mit Zeremonien und Opfergaben für den nächsten Silvester milde zu stimmen. Erfahrungsgemäss hilft das. Hoffentlich. :yes:
