Prioritäten beim Tauchen: Was ist wirklich wichtig?-Priorities in diving:what really counts!

Mit unserem brandneuen Signboard an der Hauptstrasse in Pemuteran wollen wir – logo! – natuerlich auf uns aufmerksam machen. Vor allem darauf, was uns hervorhebt. Denn was manchmal leicht in Vergessenheit gerät bei aller Begeisterung ueber die tolle Unterwasserwelt, ist die Sicherheit beim Tauchen.

Die wird bei uns groß geschrieben: Sauerstoff ist auf allen Booten vorhanden, professionelle Notfallausstattung befindet sich in der Basis, und wir haben einen Staff, der in der Notfallversorgung ausgebildet ist. Man sollte zwar meinen, dass das mittlerweile Standard ist; aber Vorfälle wie die, dass unsere Boote vor Menjangan von anderen Tauchbooten angefahren werden mit der dringenden Bitte, mit Sauerstoff und Rat und Tat weiterzuhelfen, lassen daran zweifeln. Dass wir als einzige in Pemuteran und Umgebung Nitroxtauchen anbieten, gehört auch zu diesem Thema. Und Tauchequipment sollte nicht nur gut aussehen, sondern auch regelmäßig fachmännisch gewartet sein.

Eine solide und seriöse Tauchausbildung ist das A&O jeder Taucherkarriere, was in enger Relation zur Erfahrung der Tauchlehrer steht. Recht viel mehr Tauch- und Ausbildungserfahrung als bei Düde und Kurt dürfte man wohl eher selten finden, und auch Suef ist – unter der Knute der beiden Alten 🙂 und durch seinen eigenen Ehrgeiz – nach 5 Jahren als TL ein echter Profi. Klar beginnt unsere Anfängerausbildung im Pool, und die TLs sind lizensiert, nach SSI, PADI und Barakuda auszubilden. Merke: Wo in Pemuteran PADI draufsteht, ist nicht unbedingt überall auch PADI *drin*.

Unsere Lage direkt am schönsten Sandstrand-Taucheinstieg von Bali ist klasse, noch dazu mit einem der ältesten und schönsten Riffprojekte. Man muss eigentlich nur reinlaufen und sich fallen lassen…Oder einfach in eines der bequemen Boote einsteigen und sich flott zum jeweiligen Tauchspot bringen lassen. Komfortabler geht’s nicht. Und weil unsere Guides nach ihren ersten Namen wie Mendra, Blodor, Spoor, Komang, Tigor oder Eka den Zusatz *Adlerauge* haben, weil kein Makrolebewesen ihrem Blick entgeht, darf man jedes Mal aufs Neue gespannt sein.

Dieses *Gesamtpaket* ist die Voraussetzung dafür, dass ihr relaxt und easy eure Tauchgänge genießen könnt.

Soviel zu dem Spruch *Geiz ist geil* – billiger geht’s immer -, und warum man ihn in Verbindung mit Tauchen überdenken sollte

With our brand new signboard located at the main street in Pemuteran of course we want to attract attention. Especially to those facts which make us special. Because sometimes during dive enthusiasm about the wonderful underwater world one thing will be forgotten : safety in diving.

For us safety is the base and of highest importance: Oxygen is provided on all our boats, professional emergency equipment is located at the dive base and our dive staff is educated in applying it. Meanwhile this should be a standard; but we are in doubt about this when our dive boat crew at Menjangan island is urgently asked by other dive crews to help with oxygen and emergency appliance. It also belongs to this topic that we are the only ones who provide nitrox. And dive equipment should not just look nice, but also should be maintained professionally and regularly.

A solid and serious dive education is the A&O of each dive career, and this goes hand in hand with the level of experience of the dive instructors. It will be difficult to find dive instructors with more experience than Duede and Kurt, and after five years also Suef – trained by the two *oldies* and by his own ambition – is a real professional. Of course we start our beginner course in a pool, and our instructors have the licenses to instruct according to the rules of SSI, PADI and Barakuda. Notice: Not at all places where you find the PADI sign written in front , there is also PADI *inside*.

Our location at the best sandy shore entrance for diving in Bali is superb, especially as you will find directly there one of the oldest and nicest reef projects. You just have to walk some steps into the sea and…dive. Or just board one of our comfortable boats and let you drive fast to one of the dive spots. It cannot be more easy. Our guides Mendra, Blodor, Spoor, Komang, Tigor and Eka got their second name *eagle eye* because they detect even the smallest underwater creature, so you can be curious at any time diving with them.

This whole *package* gives you the precondition for enjoying your dives in an easy and relaxed way.

There are always ways to get something cheaper – but maybe one should think about this if it is in relation with dive sport
