Eurotek Update

Dinky and I have just got back from Eurotek, which was held at the ICC in Birmingham, England last weekend. We had a fantastic couple of days chatting to loads of our past students and friends as well as making new contacts for the future.
As well as the stands that the manufacturers had there were a plethora of speakers giving great talks that varied from wreck diving, cave diving, CCR’s, accident analysis as well as what the future of technical diving might end up at. I attended a few of the talks and i must say they were very enlightning. The one that will probably interest YOU the most is that PADI will be introducing CCR courses from around summer next year. For starters there will be the PADI CCR open water and Advanced Open Water divers course on the Poseidon CCR. Good job we already have one :yes: Later on in the year they are going to have Tec CCR 40, 60 and 100 courses on current CCR’s that are CE approved. Not sure how that will effect the US market, or any Non EU market come to that.
On the saturday evening we had a Gala Dinner, dress code :- Tuxedo/dinner jacket or ball gown. We were toying with the idea of the ball gown but we couldn’t find high heels to fit us both, so tuxedo it was:>>
