May Madness

So half way through May and again there is another round of congratulations in order for the following
Paul Smith – Inspo Air Dil
Luke Chapman – Inspo Air DIl Deco
Michael Scholl – Advanced Nitrox, Deco Procedures and Helitrox.

The week started off with Paul and Luke arriving on the evening of the 10th. The next day they were straight into the classroom for equipment build and theory with instructor David ‘Dinky’ Armstrong. During the equipment build we found that some of Paul’s excess baggage was due to him bringing 4kg of Lead already installed in his rebreather 88|
APart from that it was a great start to what would turn out to be a great course.
On th 12th Michael arrived for his week of tuition and it was also a pleasure to welcome Jim Dowling along to help out and teach the course as we were busy with the CCR Side.

The last few days of the courses were spent on the boat, which we soon took over with our miriad of technical equipment. In the water Paul and Luke slowly got to grips with the new bouyancy on the rebreathers (although Luke must score 10 out of 10 for achieving perfect positive bouyancy, Too bad he was meant to be at 6m) :crazy: and Michael got to grips with how to run deco plans and attain almost perfect trim under the expert guidance from Jim :yes:

After the course unfortunately Paul and Luke had to shoot straight home (no rest for the wicked, Especially Luke who has twin girls on the way to keep him on his toes :>>)
Over the last few days Michael has been continuing to dive Helitrox 21/20 with Jim visiting some of the beautiful sites around Sharm whilst Dinky has started another course teaching sidemount and scooters to local instructors Ryan, Elise and Daniel… more to come on that next week >:XX

Again a big thank you to everyone for a great weekwith alot of laughs thrown in. Now it is warming up and the water is slowling inching past 25 degrees it is safe to say the week has been a great start to what promises to be a great Summer.
