Current situation in Bali
03.09.2017
Due to the risk of eruption of the volcano Gunung Agung in Northeast Bali, the government ordered the extensive evacuation of the area around the volcano in the evening of the 22nd September. Within a radius of 12 km around the crater, the entire population was asked to vacate the area immediately. This also applies to the hotels in that area which have also been evacuated.
The governor of Bali stated on September 24 that he urgently needs all tourists to stay away from this area. Outside this area, however, tourism is not restricted.
Our dive centers in Pemuteran / Northwest Bali operate as usual and are outside of the danger zone in case of a possible outbreak.
