Since May 2016, we welcome a new teammember, which is not really “new” actually: Erik Verhoef works already since 2008 for Diving Centers Werner Lau, even in Bali, namely at Alam Anda Ocean Front Resort. Many diving guests therefore already know him. As his name suggests, Erik is Dutch – certainly our Dutch guests will be pleased.Of course he also speaks German and English.The move from the northeast to the northwest of Bali was not very far, but both the diving area and especially the environment differ significantly: while the Alam Anda has a secluded location with the dive center closely related to the hotel, our two dive centers are autonomous and fully embedded in the village life of Pemuteran. Since Erik would like to stay in Bali, it is definitely a “change of scenery”. The diving guests at Pondok Sari and Matahari Beach Resort Hotels as well as all others who want to dive with us will benefit from his years of experience as a diveinstructor, theprofession he exercises since the year 2000. Like most instructors Erik initially underwent another professional education: he is a qualified chemical engineer who worked after studying in the electronics industry. After his early years as a professional diver in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea the distance between Europe and his next destinations was far: first Thailand, then Bali, always accompanied by further qualifications in the instructor-range. With Erik we also gain someone who is really experienced in computer work and therefore we use the opportunity to hand over blog and facebook activity to him. So you’ll read from him! 🙂
