It is not only under water that you can admire nature. Also on land there is a lot to discover. The island is home to a variety of Lizards, the popular Maldivian cuckoo (which awakens us in the early morning) and, of course, the beautiful Makanas (heron). Just a few months ago, our Makana couple had built a nest near the diving center. The babys have now become teenagers and are passing the diving center several times a day to use the rinsing pool as a drinking station.
