Did this stick just move? And this leaf has fins, really? Of course not, one is the banded pipefish, the other a ghost pipefish. Both species are common in the indo-pacific area, using their camouflage abilities for protection. Banded pipefish will usually hide under rock and overhangs, and the ghost pipefish can be found hovering over sand in a mouth down position. These two were found on Bodu Thila and Kari Beru Thila, but even at our housereef you may be lucky to see them.
