This is one of the biggest pufferfish, it can reach a size of 60cm. It is a quite lazy and slow moving fish, grazing on algae and eventually small invertebrates. They have 4 teeth that resemble a beak and feed the same way as parrotfish. When threatened they swallow a big quantity of water to appear bigger and so that their bodies cannot enter the mouth of their predators. Don’t try to hassle them so as to see them inflated… They can only do it a few time in their lives and die from a heart attack after several times.
