Filitheyos beach is not only attractive for our guests – even one of our turtles chose it for laying her eggs in January. A couple of days ago we had a beautifull full moon, but the youngsters needed more time and just in a cl

oudy rainy night they wanted to leave their nest.

The moonlight was hidden behind thick clouds and the bunglow lights looked like the shine of the moon and so our guests found over 100 turtle babies widespreaded around a handful bungalows.

After informing us we organized a small rescue mission with our guests. Every corner was checked and little by little we could help the lost babies into the sea where they hopefully become big and strong and where we can admire them.
