We are the Swiss team at Werner Lau Filitheyo. 🙂 We are both 33 years old and used to live in Switzerland until a few years ago. Beat used to work in hospitality as the manager of a bar and as a diving instructor in a small diving school, Desi used to work as a translator and online marketing manager. In early 2018, we’ve had enough of the Swiss daily routine and were travelling for 2 years. During this time, we were able to explore some of the most beautiful dive spots in the world, moving from Thailand to the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, East Timor and French Polynesia. In 2019, we worked at a dive resort on Atauro, a tranquil East Timorese island. After a break due to Covid, we are super happy to be back in the diving industry, being part of the team on Filitheyo and passing on our enthusiasm for underwater creatures – be it the tiniest shrimp or larger creatures – to future and existing divers.
