What do you do when you get to a beautiful place for the first time. Right – you take a million of pictures. Just like Julie. For sure we gonna share those pics with you. 😊

With it’s 2 km length and 500 m wide it really is a huge island. The south is undeveloped and you have an endless white beach. Pure Robinson Crusoe Feeling.

So far the island has about 70 bungalows, 40 ready for occupancy. Unfortunately some of the bungalows got destroyed by nature. Even on the Maldives the weather has changed and the normally harmless north east monsoon was quite strong this year, carrying away a lot of sand. We don’t want to keep that a secret from you. The rest of the bungalows and the ones who still get built are beautifully nestled in the islands nature. You will have a lot of privacy.  The restaurant not just offers all your heart desires but also a fantastic view. The pool and Thila Bar have the best position for postcard images and spectacular sunsets.

Our dive centre is really big and right on the beach. Once the jetty on the west side is done we can go for a housreef dive offshore and start our boat trips from there. Till then we have to improvise a bit and get to the east side of the island to start our dive tours from there – which, by the way, is not a big deal since we have buggies which drive us around and we are not talking about an 10 km detour but a 500 m walk (or drive ) through a beautiful island.
