Blog Hondaafushi – 17.04.2018

At the end of the day we unloaded our equipment as usual. While we were on our way back over the jetty to the dive center, we noticed a large floating net in the lagoon. On closer inspection we recognize a helpless turtle captivated in the net. The animal is visibly exhausted and the deep incisions indicate that it has been drifting around like this for a while. We jump right into the water and to help the turtle, which is suddenly showing signs of live and shoots off in the direction of the blue water.
