Location & Facilities

Hondaafushi Island Resort is located in the Northern Haa Dhaalu Atoll. The island measures around 60 hectares with a length of about 2 km and a width of about 500 m at its widest point. With its pristine and rampant vegetation and a two kilometers long beach, it is the perfect place for long walks and relaxation.

The resort is built in Maldivian style and is open since march 2018. All villas are located near the beach and distributed on the north-east coast of the island. The lagoon is perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

Transfer

The seaplane transfer from Male airport to Hanimaadhoo is operated by Maldivan. From Hanimaadhoo the transfer is continued by speed boat. The entire transfer takes approximately 55 minutes.

Miscellaneous

The resort is built in Maldivian style and opened in 2017. There are 70 villas distributed across the north-east coast of the island. The facilities include a modern reception area, the main restaurant by the beach, an à-la-carte restaurant, the main bar, a spa and wellness area and gardens with a swimming pool, a pool bar and a sun terrace.
