Ankunftssteg / Arrival Jetty

Es gibt hier immer etwas zu tun. Durch die Witterungsbedingungen muss ziemlich oft vieles erneuert und ausgebessert werden. So eben auch der Steg. Dass man hier auf den Malediven eben nicht die Mittel zur Verfuegung hat, wie wir sie von Europa her kennen, ist vielen nicht bewusst. So kann es dann eben doch mal ein bissl laenger dauern. Aber das Ergebnis kann sich blicken lassen! Klasse Arbeit Jungs! —————————————————–

There is always something to do. Especially because of the weather conditions (sea, salt, sand, …)  the wood has to be replaced quite often. So this time it was the arrival jetty which had to be fixed. Sometimes for us Europeans it’s hard to understand why it takes a bit longer but hey – they don’t have those high-tech tools which we are used to. What matters is the result – and that’s a fantastic one! Well done guys!
