Ja, ich will! / Yes, I do!

Was gibt es romantischeres als seine Flitterwochen auf einer tropischen Insel im Indischen Ozean zu verbringen? Viele unserer Gaeste sind genau aus diesem Grund hier – Flitterwochen.

Aber warum nicht auch hier Heiraten! Das sagten sich 2 unserer Taucher auch! Im Nu war alles arrangiert und eine traumhafte Zeremonie wurde veranstaltet.

Ja, natuerlich ist es letzten Endes nur eine romantische Zeremonie und nicht Rechtskraeftig. Offiziell Heiraten koennen auf den Malediven nur Muslime. Aber es liegt ja auch an euch ob nun eine steife Zeremonie im Standesamt mehr Bedeutung hat als ein romantisches Versprechen auf einer Maledivischen Insel.  ————————————————————————————————————-

Why not getting married here too? That’s what 2 of our divers had in mind when they arrived here. It didn’t take long and a wonderful ceremony was arranged.

Sure in the end it is nothing legally. Only Muslims can get legally married on the Maldives. But hey – it’s up to you if a promise on a tropical island counts less than a promise in a registry office.
