Paarungszeit / Mating season

Zur Zeit haben wir wahnsinnig viele Oktopuse, welche uns ein echtes Schauspiel bieten.

Auf der Suche nach der grossen Liebe werden sie sehr aktiv. Ihre Farb-  und Formverwandlung ist dabei deutlich zu beobachten.  Normalerweise sind sie sehr versteckt und gut getarnt, sodass wir sie nur selten entdecken. Waehrend der Paarungszeit allerdings kann man sie immer wieder frei beobachten wie sie auf Brautschau gehen! J

At the moment we have a big amount of octopus which offer us quite a big spectacle. 

In search of the big love the get really active. Their color and shape transformation is amazing and well observable. Normally they are so well camouflaged that you hardly spot them. But during the mating season you can often see them hunting for the right partner or two! 🙂
