Bali Toll Road

Bali’s erste Toll Road, die 10 km lang ist und übers Meer (Benoa Bay) verläuft, wurde eröffnet und sorgt für erhebliche Entlastung beim Straßenverkehr im Süden von Bali.

Das wegen der Beschädigung des Mangrovenwald umstrittene und viel diskutierte Projekt, sorgt für einen wesentlich verbesserten Verkehrsablauf und hat auch für uns kürzere Transferzeiten zur Folge. Die Firma, die für die Baumaßnahmen verantwortlich ist, ist auch dafür verantwortlich, den beschädigten Mangrovenwald innerhalb eines Jahres wiederherzustellen.

Wir hoffen sehr, dass dies gelingt, da Mangroven für die Umwelt ein extrem wertvolles Gut darstellen. 

Bali’s first Toll Road, which is 10 km long and is built over the sea (Benoa Bay), has been opened and considerably helps to relieve the traffic in the south of Bali.

The, because of damage to the mangrove forest, controversial and much discussed project, provides a substantial improvement of traffic congestion and also helps us to offer reduced transfer times. The company which is responsible for the toll road construction is also obliged to reinstate the damaged mangrove forest within a year.

We sincerely hope that this goal is achieved, because mangroves are an extremely important part of our environment.
