Glückstag – Lucky day

Es war ein kleines hin und her, bis sich die Taucher entschieden haben doch früh aufstehen zu wollen und ihr Glück am Manta Point zu versuchen.
Die Voraussetzungen waren gut, gutes Wetter, ruhige See und nur 3 Boote an Manta Point.
Nach ca. 10 Minuten im nicht zu kalten Wasser ging die Show los. Ein Manta, zwei Manta, drei Manta… mehr als 9 sollen es gewesen sein, die den Rest vom Tauchgang unsere 5 Tauchgänge sehr glücklich machten!
Aber das war noch nicht genug für unsere 5 unentschlossenen Taucher!!!
Zur Mittagspause wurde der Tauchplatz gewechselt, nach kurzem Check der Lage an Crystal Bai, wo es nach heftiger Strömung aussah, ging es an das schöne Riff Sental im Norden von Nusa Penida. Zu erwarten: schöne Korallen, viele Rifffische, Schneckchen und mit Glück eine Schildkröte, aber keine Mola’s. Sie bekamen aber alles und noch viel mehr. Auf 25 Meter war dann plötzlich das absolute Highlight des Tages da. Ein Mola Mola (Mondfisch), ca. 3-4 Meter groß, der sich mehrere Minuten lang in aller Ruhe beim Putzen lassen zusehen liess :yes:!
Besser geht es nicht!!!

It was a bit difficult to get to a decision, but our divers decided to get up early in the morning to try their luck at Manta Point.
The conditions were good, nice weather, calm sea, only 3 boats at Manta Point.
After about 10 minutes in the not too cold water the show began. 1 manta, 2 mantas, 3 mantas… more than 9 mantas appeared and made our 5 divers very happy for the rest of the dive!
But for our undecisive guests, that was not the end of it!!!
During the lunch break they checked the conditions at Crystal Bai, which seemed a bit rough due to strong currents, so they headed for the nice reef Sental, north of Nusa Penida. To be expected there during the dive: very nice corals, a lot of small reef fish, nudibranches, maybe a turtle, but unfortunately no mola’s. They had it all and even more. In 25 meters depth the absolute highlight of the day was waiting. A Mola mola (Sunfish), about 3-4 meters tall, was not shy and let the divers watch it during the cleaning process for several minutes :yes:!
Could it be any better???
