Neues Dach für Ambu Ambu / New roof for Ambu Ambu

Diesen Monat konnten unsere Gäste eine besondere Handwerkskunst bei uns im Resort bewundern. Unser Doppel-Seaview-Bungalow Ambu Ambu hat ein neues Dach bekommen. Das Alang Alang (wie das Gras dach heißt) kommt bereits vorbereitet in 1 Meter Bahnen hier an. Dann wird es nacheinander auf die Bambusstangen aufgereiht, sieht von unten optisch toll aus und hält von oben prima trocken!

This month our guests could enjoy a very special handicraft in our resort. Our double Seaview Bungalow Ambu Ambu got a new roof. The Alang Alang roof, that’s how we call the grass roof, is delivered in panels of about 1 meter and then lined up next and above each other and fixed to big bamboo sticks. This looks incredible nice from below and keeps dry from above!
