Mantas!!!!!

Vor ein paar Tagen war wieder Manta Zeit. Das frühe Aufstehen fällt jedem schwer, aber spätestens bei der Autofahrt vorbei an den herrlichen Reisterassen sind alle putzmunter und der Schönheit Balis verzückt.
In Padang Bai angekommen geht es dann aufs Boot und auch hier wird “geposst” und viel Spass gemacht. Nach 45 min Bootsfahrt sind alle fertig angerödelt und gespannt auf die Mantas und dann geht es los. Gleich mehrer Mantas ziehen heute ihre Runden an der Putzerstation. Und der Octopus bietet auch einen schönen Anblick, obwohl der Arme leider mit der Begeisterung für die Mantas nicht mithalten kann. Ein gelungener Ausflug.

A few days ago we went to the Manta Point. No one likes to get up that early, but latest when we pass the beautiful rice teracces, all guest are awake and mesmorized by the beauty of Bali. After arrival in Padang Bai we go on board and everyone is in a fantastic mood and excited to see the Mantas. After a 45 min boat ride everyone is ready to dive and eager to get in the water. Just after a few minutes the show starts with the first Manta sightings. Later several Mantas are spotted close to the cleaning station. A rare but also welcome sight offers a reef octopus, but surely the Mantas will get most of the attention today. What a wonderful trip.
