Happy New Year

Das Bathala Team wuenscht all unseren Tauchern ein froehliches neues Jahr. Wir hoffen das all eure Wuensche und guten Vorsaetze, für das Jahr 2015, in Erfuellung gehen. Natuerlich hoffen wir auch euch alle im neuen Jahr, auf ein paar schoene Tauchgaenge, wieder bei uns auf Bathala begruessen zu duerfen. Wie ihr auf den Bildern sehen koennt endete 2014 am 31.12 in Flammen. Das neue Jahr 2015 berguessten wir dann am naechsten Tag mit einem grossen Stammestreffen am Strand. In der Lagune schwamm ein großer Walhai aus Bambus, gefolgt von einer Gruppe singender und tanzender Schamanen. Eine weitere Gruppe von Fischern versuchte den Walhai erfolglos zu fangen, sodass er in den Tiefen des Meeres verschwand. Dies konnte unsere Gäste jedoch nicht davon abhalten die erste Nacht des neuen Jahres durch zu tanzen.

 

First of all, the Bathala Team would like to wish all our divers a very Happy New Year and we hope that all your wishes and resolutions may come true in 2015. And of course we hope to welcome you all again in the upcoming year to have some great dives together. As you can see on the pictures, 2014 went up in flames on the 31st of december and the next day we welcomed 2015 with a big tribal gathering on the beach. There was a big bamboo whaleshark swimming around in the lagoon and while there were a bunch of dressed up shamans singing and dancing another group of fishermen tried to catch it onto the beach. Unfortunately the whaleshark swam of but that did not keep the guests from dancing the night away on the first of the year.
