Alle im selben Boot/ All in the same boat

Was wäre ein Tauchurlaub auf Medhufushi ohne unsere berühmt berüchtigten Ganztagesausflüge in den Norden oder in den Süden des Atolls.

What would be a holiday on Medhufushi without our infamous full day trips to the north or the south of the atoll?

So habe sich auch diesmal wieder viele Taucher gefunden um zu den Kanälen „Divers Paradise“ und „Happy Corner“ zu fahren um dort Haireiche Tauchgänge zu erleben.

Once again we were not short on volunteers for our channel dives at “Divers Paradise” and “Happy Corner”, both of which are teeming with sharks this time of the year.

Mit unter ihnen diesmal Kadir unser Kompressor Junge, der mittlerweile schon zu einem richtigen Taucher geworden ist, im Januar 2010 gerade mal seinen OWD Tauchkurs mit Hassan absolviert dann im Juni 2010 seinen Advanced bei Holger beendet, und heute seinen sage und schreibe hundertsten Tauchgang mit uns macht.
Herzliche Glückwünsche lieber Kadir, hoffentlich folgen noch viele hundert mehr.

Kadir, our compressor boy, also decided to come along for the trip on his day off. He has truly become quite an accomplished dive since attaining his OWD license from Hassan in January 2010 & completing his AOW training with Holger in June the same year. Today he celebrated his 100th dive – a recognizable milestone for any diver & especially for a compressor technician!!! Congratulations Kadir “bai” (brother); we wish you hundreds of more exciting dives.

Nicht nur Kadir war mit an Bord ebenfalls die lustige Truppe aus Österreich die uns mit ihren Tanzeinlagen den Gesamten Tag amüsierten.

Joining Kadir for the trip was our “comedian” group from Austria who kept us entertained the whole day with their dance performance.

Franzi und Winni präsentierten uns die neueste Lederhosen Mode 2011, und ihr müsst schon zugeben die beiden sind auch zwei hervorragende Models.

Johann konnte nicht wiederstehen uns unser Mittagessen zu fangen, einen Thunfisch.

Johann couldn´t resist catching our lunch – a tuna, for us.

Franzi hatte viel Biss für diesen Tag mitgebracht.

Franzi came well-prepared for his day encountering innumerable sharks. (P.S. Franzi was scarier than any shark we saw while diving!)

Es war wieder ein toller Tag mit euch allen. Danke an Winni, Astrid, Franzi, Gabi, Cyaba, Johann und natürlich Kadir. Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal wenn es wieder auf unsere Ganztagesausflüge geht.
