CLEAN UP THE LAGOON !

Ein großes Danke an Alessandro und Kadir. Sie haben sich heute durch unsere kleine Lagune auf der Westseite von Medhufushi gewühlt. Sie ist klein aber fein und hat eine unglaubliche Vielzahl an Leben. Sie hat sich aber in der letzten Zeit mit Seegras, diversen Algen und Plastik angefüllt. Jetzt strahlt sie wieder in ihrem alten Glanz. Da freuen sich die Baby Fledermausfische, Barrakudas, Zackenbarsche und Schnapper. Aufgepasst! Auch unsere kleinen schwarzspitzen Riff Haie schwimmen da rum. Super süss! Gute Arbeit Jungs!

A big thank you goes to Alessandro and Kadir today for cleaning our little lagoon on the West side of Medhufushi island. It´s small yes, but incredibly rich in marine life. We noticed that the area was getting loaded with too much dead seagrass and some plastic from debris… Now is back to its splendour and bright natural colours. Here comes bat fishes, barracuda, stingrays and many many baby groupers and snappers, but beware of the baby black tip shark: it´s super cute! Good job guys!!
