Leopard Ray and Ghostpipefish
It is amazing all the different creatures that we can find here in the Red Sea. Yesterday while hanging on their Safety Stop after a dive in Ras Ghamila (one of our local dive sites), Thomas and Gerd spotted a Leopard Ray swimming a few meters down. The name comes from the pattern on the back that is similar to that of a Leopard. Unfortunately we could not get a close-up of the pattern, but it does show the beautiful long tail.

Our house reef is Naama Bay and it is popular for the smaller creatures of the Red Sea. We have recently discovered an interesting new resident. A Ghostpipefish. It is about 6 centimeters long and really unique in appearance. This photo was taken by Andrea who works in our counter.

Hope you enjoy this little slice of Sharm !
