End of 2015, we have reluctantly decided to close our operation in Sharm el Sheikh.

After we released the news, a few very surprising things happened.

The news were received by everyone with sadness, but also understanding.
Our lessors from Helnan Marina, with whom we have had an excellent relationship for many years, were shocked as well, but showed understanding. After consulting the headquarters in Cairo, they offered us to stay rent-free in the closed diving centre until March.

There haven’t been any guests in Sharm el Sheikh since November. 

Due to this offer and because of your reactions in the internet, we have decided to give it another try and open the diving centre again on March 20, 2016.

This decision was also taken having the responsibility towards our longtime Egyptian staff in mind.
But it is also a gesture of thanks towards our guests and partners. The people in Sharm el Sheikh are very solidary with one another in this worst situation ever for the place.

As a big thanks to all of you we decided to prolong our buddyweeks in Sharm el Sheikh until June 15, 2016. We are looking forward to having lots of fun diving with you in the Straits of Tiran, in Ras Mohamed and other world-famous dives sites.
